Gautama Buddha! Greatest incarnation of God!
Thee hath blessed me to be born as a Buddhist my Lord!
Love, love, discard desires, discard desires-Thy preaching
To be peaceful, nothing else I can be aspiring!

Thy preaching by no means bookish, practical indeed
Never Thee preached that was not practiced by you great deed
World has seen and follow Thy footsteps in millions
In this life that is the way to get deliverance!

Numbers may be a few in millions, countries too
May be a few to follow Thy way of teachings true
But convinced we are thy words and life that Thee followed
Solution to the sorrows and sufferings- hallowed!

Oh! My Lord! Buddha the Almighty! Kindly shower
Thy blessings and grace in all of us with Thy power
That rids the world of hatred and misery a lot
Guide, the noble way for harmony, peace and love- great!
