PAINFUL LUXURY

 

Unfortunate the noble quality of simplicity is gone
Society is after show of shameless luxury and painful
In food or dress, entertainment or transportation luxury set in
To the yearning and envy of the less fortunate and have nots-sin!

Days were there miles we walked to the schools and colleges for years
Today for hundred meters away school children in teens go in scooter
Dropped in cars by the parents- obese children are on the increase
Luxury leads to loss of health and looks awkward for the onlookers!

Love for children needs to be displayed to make them great and noble
In their thoughts, words and deeds-loving all and serving all- stable
In helping ever and hurting never-devotion to work and God
For future of the society to be peaceful and harmonious-my Lord!
