The day is Rangwali Holi – a free-for-all festival of colours,
People smear each other with colours and drench each other.

Color each other -friend or stranger, rich or poor, man or woman!
Children and elders. frolic and fight with colorsin streets, parks,
Temples and buildings carrying drums and other musical instruments,
Sing and dance, visit family, friends and foes to throw colored powders on all
Laugh and gossip, then share Holi delicacies, food and drinks.
In the evening, dress up and visit friends and family.
