“Love all, Serve all”, “Help Ever, Hurt Never” -that is all
What I know on earth and what all I need to know- stand tall
No need for religion, religious literature
Society to practice and ensure a bright future!
It is not theory but practical one canb follow
We have many who have lived and shown others can follow
Mahatma Gandhi -Father of the Nation was there
Mother Teresa who lived among us born elsewhere!
This is the day- years-long thirty seven ago
Mother Teresa got her Nobel Award for peace
We are proud and she the beacon light shown with ease
The way to live a life simple and noble on earth!
Beyond the grills of my beautiful window
A lovely sight I get as the gift of wind!
A plant of two years with height of ten feet
Bows with respect to the God of wind quite neat!
East to West and West to East, South to North and
North to South –gentle movement supporting wind
Adding to the great pleasure of breeze sitting
On this good side of the grill and enjoying!
A beautiful crow just glides and lands on the
Tender green plant- plant obliging the crow
A space to perch and moving along wit the
Plant’s branches- the great creation of God!
A Sanskrit prayer reads:
“Swasthip prajaabyaha paripaalayanthaam
Nyaayaena maargaeNa mahee maheesaaha
Go brahmaNaabyaha subha masthu nithyam
Loka samastha sukino bavanthu,
Sarvae janaaha sukhino bavanthu!E”
The last two lines offering prayer:
“May the whole world be at peace and joy
May the entire people be at peace and joy!”
All the prayers end invoking God for peace:
“Ohm Shanthi! Ohm Shanthi! Ohm Shanthi”
“ Ohm peace! Ohm Peace! Ohm Peace!”

Make them happy with what you can!
Polygamy surely not a ban
Without which happily live I can

MY LIFE’S LIGHT WAS SHE.
My “Life’s Light Left” this day three years ago exact
Keeping me desolate among a crowd of greats-left
To fend for myself despite kith and kin with me
That is HIS will- Omniscient God- who loves me!
Together we were for more than four and a half decades
In thick and thin, in joy and sorrow near with her,
And away- far far away- leaving her to take care of children
No murmurs, no expression of regret- all Mother’s grace!
The cruel hands of destiny and death carried away
My beloved better half-years three are gone
Gone with the times remaining every minute
In my thoughts with misery unbearable-absolute!
Seen off at Kadapa railway station on our way to Kolkatta to receive Micheal Madhsudhan Academy Award twenty years ago.
August nineteenth –tomorrow is a great day-quite significant
“World Humanitarian Day” observed all over the globe
For all of us to think, to pen and spread, make the world with patience
To respect all beings-God’s creation with clear conscience!
Men and women are created by God the Almighty
To live and lead a life normal with kith and kin rightly;
But there are the beloved of God who work for the world
Sacrificing all in challenging situations bold!
Brazilian Sergio Vieira de Mello was one of age
Whose thinking, philosophy, dynamism and courage
Inspired all and timeless legacy for all to emulate.
Rightly United Nations dedicated this day to that great!
