Dashavatara refers to the ten primary avatars of Vishnu, the Hindu god of preservation. Vishnu is said to descend in form of an avatar to restore cosmic order. The word Dashavatara derives from daśa, meaning ‘ten’, and avatar (avatāra), roughly equivalent to ‘incarnation’.

The list of included avatars varies across sects and regions, Most are drawn from the following set of figures, Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parashurama, Rama, Krishna, (Balarama) or Buddha, and Kalki.  Krishna, often  replaces Vishnu as the source of all avatars. Some traditions include a regional deity such as Vithoba or Jagannath in penultimate position, replacing Krishna or Buddha. All avatars have appeared except Kalki, who will appear at the end of the Kali Yuga.

Lord Krishna is widely revered and prayers offered in all parts of the Holy land-India that is Bharath-in East and west, North and South!

They portray him in various perspectives: a God-child, a prankster, a model lover, a divine hero, and as the universal supreme being. His iconography reflects these legends, and shows him in different stages of his life, such as an infant eating butter, a young boy playing a flute, a young man with Radha or surrounded by women devotees, or a friendly charioteer giving counsel to Arjuna.

The synonyms of Krishna have been traced to 1st millennium BCE literature In some sub-traditions, Krishna is worshipped as Svayam Bhagavan, and this is sometimes referred to as Krishnaism. Dazling Sun, Indra

Vayu and Maruts too.

MUSIC OF THE MOSQUITO

Image result for Image for the music of mosquito

Among the beautiful creations of the Lord Almighty
There are big and small, tall and short, fat and lean, all types pretty
Wonderful indeed is HIS art of making living beings
Of course to bring in peace and harmony nice in all doings!

Lions roar, dogs bark, cuckoos sing, waves roar, nightingale sings sweet
Lord Krishna plays the flute so melodious, cows return neat
People yearn to listen to the children’s blabbering on time
World looks forward for the voices kind and sweet all around nice!

HIS creation the tiny mosquito rings, sings as night falls
To some it is music who have the ears to enjoy music
To many it is nuisance plain and simple spoiling sleep
It is all in the ears of the beholders and listeners!

SONG OF A SERPENT

Image result for Maha vishnu

I sing in delight with pride that I am the bed for Lord Vishnu
I am not that inimical to the living beings as I
Am portrayed to be- I do no harm to others unless I am
Provoked- I sing a hiss and protect myself from any harm.

My song has something for the humans- you are of course stronger
Out of fear raze not my home with my kids- as we are weaker
Snake charmers make a living with us as we dance to their tune
Provide joy to the onlooking children and elders-give fortune.

Lord, the Almighty has created you and we the serpents
To live in peace and harmony with each other-with a penchant
And be grateful to the Protector-AdhiSesha Sayana
One of the trinities in the Universe created by them.
