MAY DAY

Labour Day has its origins in a movement mobilised by the labour union at the time of rising industrialization

May Day-Labor Day- to honor the working class who labor for a cause
The cause to make the people live in peace and harmony, and be happy
They sacrifice their pleasures and health, care not for comforts and suffer pain!
Right in the days when they were subjected to exploitation and strain!

Unfortunately the labor class exploiting the society becomes
Order of the day and the people are put to inconveniences!
Both seem to be at fault- expectations high among all pathetic.
Rights and duties go hand in hand and society to be sympathetic!

On this holy holiday let the blue or white colored-working class resolve
To be faithful to all and selves and do their duty with all their heart
Government and employers to take care of the employees, workers of all
Cadres -treating honorably, paying decently, respecting  humanly!

Alas!all are of course victims some time or other; we are seeing
Of accidents at home or roads, factories and offices misfortune

Many times we fall victims due to our own awful negligence
Equally horrible it is when due to our own ignorance
Young or old, man or woman, humans or animals all fall victims sure
Efforts are needed to educate and bring in awareness pure!

“National Safety Day is today” to make conscious efforts
By all to minimize accidents- if not avoid in total – to bear fruits
Let every one take the pledge:”I solemnly affirm that I Rededicate
Myself to the cause of safety, health and protection of environment”.

I was pleasantly surprised on the early morning of 8th instant when I had a mail received from wordpress.

Blogger N V Subbaraman in his official surrounding.

to me

Howdy, Blogging 101ers,

We’re excited to kick things off!

– You’ve been added to The Commons, a private space just for Blogging 101 participants where you can get help, chat about the challenge generally, and forge deeper connections with one another. I’ll be a regular presence there, along with Happiness Engineers Chrissie and Saravanan. We’re there to answer questions, clarify assignments, offer more resources and tips, and direct you to more support when necessary — take a few minutes to check out the guidelines, then feel free to ask anything!

– “Blogging 101: The Commons” will now appear in your list of blogs under “My Sites,” and you’ll be able to access it while logged in to WordPress.com. Please note that you are meant to complete all assignments on your personal blogs, not on The Commons — the Commons is just a space to ask questions and connect with other bloggers.

– You need to be logged in to WordPress.com to access The Commons. Log in with your normal username and password.

– If you’ve received this email but aren’t able to access the Commons, let us know here.

You’ll receive an introduction to the course with full instructions shortly, and the first assignment later today. Happy blogging!

(Please don’t respond to this email. If you have questions, find us on The Commons. Thanks!)

Cheers,

Michelle W. and the WordPress.com Team

I sent a reply in the COMMONs as below.

Excited; looking forward for great times ahead in my passion-blogging ENVIUS THOUGHTS through https://nvsr.wordpress.com

Thanks for creating a new relationship in the domain of BLOGGING.

The next communication from the COMMONS

Welcome to Blogging 101!

You should have already received an email letting you know that you’ve been added to the private course site, The Commons (or, for those of you who don’t blog on wordpress.com, giving you access instructions). Feel free to pop in and introduce yourself to your co-bloggers.

Having trouble accessing The Commons? Let us know here.

You’ll receive the first day’s task later today. Then, you’ll get a new task each weekday at midnight GMT. (Not sure when that is for you? Use this tool.) Do each task on your own time, and visit the Commons when you need a helping hand, need some feedback, or want to check out what others are up do.

Some tasks will ask you to write a post, while others are more behind-the-scenes, like adding widgets or customizing your theme. Those tasks don’t require that you write a post, although you’re more than welcome to!

As we get started, a quick word of advice: Blogging 101 works through the tasks that help most bloggers advance their blogging goals. That said, every task is voluntary — take them, leave them, or interpret them however you choose!  If a task asks you to do something that doesn’t feel quite right for you, look at the why of the task — we don’t just give you assignments, we tell you why we’re suggesting them. Is there something you can do feels better and gets you the same result? The why is the crux; the task is just our best suggestion.

We can’t wait to see what you create this month!

Cheers,

Michelle and the WordPress.com Team

Day One: Introduce Yourself to the World

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click “New Post,” and tell us why you’re here.

Today’s assignment: write and publish a “who I am and why I’m here” post on your blog.

Why?

It gives new readers context. What are you about?

It helps focus your ideas what you’d like to do with your blog.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto or a simple outline.

If you’ve already been blogging for a while, we still encourage you to do a version of this assignment: use it to revisit what you said when you first started blogging, to take stock of what you’ve accomplished and what more you’d like to do, or to lay out some goals for your next six months.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

Why are you blogging publicly instead of keeping a diary?

What topics do you think you’ll write about?

Who would you love to connect with via your blog?

If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what do you hope to accomplish?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they evolve as we learn and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where you started, and articulating your goals may give you a few other post ideas.

Feeling stuck? Write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “shitty first draft” (her language). Anne makes a great point — just write, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “blogging101” so other new bloggers can find you, too.

Remember: publish this post on your own blog, not on the Commons — you want to say hello to the world, not just your classmates! All Blogging 101 assignments are meant to be done on your own blogs.

Here’s the nitty-gritty on publishing a basic post, and here are instructions for adding tags to a post. Welcome to blogging!

Want to chat one-on-one with fellow bloggers? Head to The Commons.

Cheers,

Michelle W. and the WordPress.com Team

Why are you blogging publicly instead of keeping a diary?

What topics do you think you’ll write about?

Who would you love to connect with via your blog?

If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what do you hope to accomplish?

I do take the increase in average view per post, view per day as a great achievement and a satisfying experience!

MIND and THE MACHINE

image

Oh! My Lord the Creator of men and machines
Lo! The man is becoming slave of the machine.

Machine, the brain child of men, going far beyond
Its mentor! Machine to obey, man to command!

Man’s mind faster than the air and wind, light and sound,
Can travel the worlds beyond, make wonders abound.

Disciplined mind can control the world rebellious
Machine a substitute for man can never be!

Man with his senses six and vision short and long
Sees the men and matters in all dimensions strong

Learn from the past, monitor the present and plan
For the future; master the art of living is the man!

Man can be mechanical, never machine can
Have the man’s mind! Cannot think and do as a man.

Let not the man lose his feelings and emotions
Love for all living beings, earn Divine Promotion

STRESS THE KILLER TO BE KILLED!

Image result for images stress

What is stress and what is strain
All is a matter of human brain.

Stress can be a killer of man
May be in a short time span.
Deserves to be killed by easy means
With will and wit and cosy ways!

Causes of stress may be in plenty
One need not worry even in fifty!

Fear of failure often a cause
Which need not be one well because
Unknown result, unheard melody
Sure to provide us sweetness and joy!

Nature has its stress and strain
Animals have their stress and strain
Machines have their stress and strain
Man has his and why in pain?

Stress is one omnipresent
Easily coped sure by the competent
On the body and on the mind
On the soul and on the intellect
Age and sex, wealth and status
Stress of-course has little respect!

Faith in God, self and people
Fair to all with love and scruple
Thoughts noble and deeds worthy
Happy hobbies and habits healthy
Love for nature, animals and people
Through stress and strain nothing can topple!

Funny it is!

Man is the creation of God
Machine is the creation of man
Man can be the master of machine
Funny it is he becomes its slave!

Man commands machine obeys
Machine demands man obeys
Man percieves machine performs
Funny it is he rarely transforms!

Man has his stress and strains
Machine has its stress and strain

Animal has its stress and strain

Funny it is man alone despairs!

Man thinks faster acts slow
Machine thinks not but acts fast
Man to control and machine to be controlled
Funny it is he feels weaker than the controlled!
