Yes, what is the magic of TIME! Goddess of Time is very powerful and SHE expects everyone on earth to handle time effectively and efficiently. On the one hand we find the people not knowing what to do with that ”TIME” and on the other hand we do come across people praying the GODDESS OF TIME why she has done only twenty four hours a day and why not it be 48? May be man designed yet……….

I am probably neither here nor there! That I used to get up at 5 in the morning till I completed my college course in 1961, and at 4 till I was in the service of my Alma mater great premier public sector organization Life Insurance Corporation of India where I learnt the art of life and living and now post retirement I get up at 3 yet I am unable to complete my routine with peace!!!

Time and tide waits for none it is said; but tide waits for full moon to blossom to show its beauty in depth!”

A landmark achievement was crossing the overall views of TWO LAKS AND TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND on 26th November 2019!

It has always been a great matter of awe and delight, inspiration and wonder! I mean the astrological/astronomical knowledge of our learned saints and seers, yogis and predictors of the future. That is getting strengthened as days pass bye. Astrology is a great art and science – not superstitious beliefs of a few.

Planets govern the world and they move from house to house from time to time. That way October 30th was “GURU PEYARCHI DAY” that is Transit of GURU-Bruhaspati- from one house to another. That morning in the temple the priest was mentioning that the person having SWATHI star (I am a SWATHI starred person) may have to face minor problems! It took its own stride. One may not believe what I experienced in that very evening! I am a type of person rushing to help others asked or unasked, known or unknown, young or old! Lady from the third floor was going out and she had come to the road. Her son threw a bag at her request from their flat. In the normal course it should have fallen on the ground and she would have picked up and proceeded with her work. In my over enthusiasm to help her, I wanted to catch that bag as it was falling and in the process I hit against the iron gate and got hurt in my head, shoulders and back-thank God not very serious!!!I was writhing in pain for a few hours after applying some ointment!! Then I decided to visit a 1000 year old temple-guru kshethram- in walking distance from my flat- every Thurs day and I continue. It was 4th
a couple of days back!  Several thousands of years ago they calculated that the planet will transit on that day and predicted the possible effect on persons born in different stars!    That is why India, my holy Motherland is very great in all spheres on earth.

On 14th November-Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday being observed in deference to his wishes as Children’s day. We in our colony observed with great fun and respect- a lot of children enthusiastically participating displaying their talents in various activities.

Great MUSIC SEASON commences today in Chennai. Scintillating Music festivals many in each locality- attract lot of music lovers from the whole of India and many countries abroad! A month long season indeed is great for the participating musicians -young and old, men and women-and music lovers of all ages.Music is divine and divinity can be felt, seen and heard in Chennai through out this month.

I am always proud of my esteemed viewers. One Shri Shankar from Pondicherry is one of the regulars and he suggested the post like “November 29th-Sirappuli Nayanar IS 36* Day” in respect of other Tamil Saint poets Nayanmars 63 in number and it will be a big task. Anyhow I may start the series in a planned manner in due course. I am indeed grateful to him.

Dr. Sethu Kumanan, one of the greatest educationists of Tamilnadu.

He is Dr. Sethu Kumanan hailing from the rural hamlet Kandaramanickam, Sivagangai District is the son of a very great and humane teacher Mr KR Sethu, who is a legend on his own. Mr Kumanan graduated from Raja Duraisingam Memorial College affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University and pursued higher studies in Annamalai University.

He has a passion for teaching and he is a true educationist.

He has received innumerable awards including MUDIYARASAN AWARD on 7th inst. At Karaikudi.

He is a passionate writer. Our former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdulkalamji has appreciated him personally for his collection of poems written in Tamil.

He has written many books including Malaysia Manimakudam, Idayathul Israel, Masakthi Ikeda, Mexicovil Tamil Kavidaigal and Petra – A travelogue of the trip to Jordan – A compilation of photographs.

He has infinite talents in the film media and he had produced many short films like “Veeramangai Velunachiar”, a film on the brave historical women, “Ellaiyilla Paarvai” – Vision beyond boundaries. These films had the vision to create values in the younger generation. The short film titled “Kadavulai Kandaen “– Saw the Almighty – a real story of Sethu Bhaskara School student, “Bimbam” -to highlight the value of parents and the need to take care of them in their old age and the film titled “Kalviyin Kaimaru”-to inculcate the humane quality of compassion in the mind of everyone are some of his exemplary works and masterpieces.

He is the Correspondent & Managing Trustee of the Sethu Valliammal Educational Trust which renders yeomen service to the society by running many educational institutions of repute, which include:

Sethu Bhaskara Matric. Higher Secondary School (Recognised by Govt. of Tamilnadu), Pudur, Ambattur.

Dr. Ikeda Karunayagam, Anna Nagar West, Chennai.

Sethu Bhaskara Technical Institute, (Recognised by Govt. of India and Govt. of Tamil Nadu)Kandramanickam, Sivaganga Dist.

Soka Ikeda College of Arts & Science for Women (Affiliated to Madras University) , Madhanangkuppam, Chennai 600 099.

Sethu Irani Matriculation School, Kandramanickam.

Sethu Bhasakara Agricultural College and Research Foundation, Visalayankottai, Karaikudi.

Dr Sethu Kumanan holds the prestigious post of the Honorary Senate Member, Middle East University, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. He is the Editor & Publisher Iniya Ikeda ( An International Magazine) and the Managing Trustee, Village Community Hall – Sri Manickanachi Amman Marriage Hall, Kandramanickam, Sivagangai Dist.

He has visited many countries and participated in several International Poets Conferences. They are  Meets held in Turkey, Israel, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Finland, Slovakia, S. Korea, Mexico, Greece, Romania, U.S.A, Switzerland, Australia, Mongolia and Hungary. He has visited more than 60 countries encompassing all the continents and far-flung areas like Arctic and Antarctic regions of the world.

Dr. Sethu Kumanan aspired to achieve something significant in the field of education. With the moral and financial support of his maternal uncle and father-in-law Mr Sethu Bhaskaran, he started a school in 1988 under the banner “Sethu Bhaskara Matriculation Higher Secondary School” at Pudur, Ambattur, Chennai 600 053 with just eight students. The school has now grown up with the guidance and support of numerous well-wishers to the extent of producing state ranks. The school strength is now nearly 8000.

The school imparts value-based education to children, who are mostly first-generation school-goers. Hailing from an economically backward family, Dr Sethu Kumanan could appreciate how financial difficulties could hinder the academic progress of an individual. Sethu Bhaskara MHS school offers concessions within its means and occasionally beyond, to the needy, so as not to deprive a child of knowledge just for want of money.

In Sethu Bhaskara, apart from offering free education and fee concessions to the wards of their staff, the school tries to extend the facility to other students also – parentless, fatherless, financially backward and on medical grounds. Around 248 students enjoy free education. These students and the visually- challenged will come under the banner Dr. Ikeda School Students. The meritorious students – proficient in academics as well in sports are given free education to encourage them and to motivate other students.

Sethu Bhaskara School enjoys the pride of being the first English Medium School in India to launch Integrated Education for the visually-challenged children. The School Management willingly and happily bears the responsibility of providing free education, transport, uniform etc. to the twenty-two visually-challenged students who are covered by this scheme.

The most striking part of this scheme is the mingling of these students with the students in the general stream, by which they attend classes along with the normal children in the regular classrooms. As these children are able to mingle with other students, they gain the confidence that they can cope up with the peers who have normal vision.

Dr. Sethu Kumanan strongly believes that it is not enough just to sympathise with the visually-challenged. Instead, we should see what best can be done for them. That is the reason why all efforts have been taken to initiate to help the visually-challenged enjoy their rights to live happily as others do, by giving them education, which is like eyes to every human being.

Dr. Sethu Kumanan started an Industrial Training Center in his native village Kandramanickam in the year 1997 “ Sethu Bhaskara I.T.C.” with an aim to make them capable bread-winners. The students are trained in different fields – Fitter, Wireman and Electrician etc. Around 300 students have successfully completed the course and are now comfortably placed locally and abroad. He has also started Sethu Irani Matric.Hr.Sec.School in the year 1998 to impart education to students in his native village. More than 500 students are studying.

Taken up by the viewpoint of the great Japanese philosopher Dr.Daisaku Ikeda, an enthusiastic educationist and ardent follower of Gandhian principles, Dr. Sethu Kumanan decided to follow his path. Dr.Ikeda, his mentor, fervently believes in educating the people of the rural area and in the empowerment of women. His adoration for this noble personality lead to the founding of a college exclusively for women, an institution to cater to the educational needs of the rural women in the name of the renowned educationist “ Soka Ikeda College of Arts and Science for Women, Chennai 600 099 in the year 2000. Rightly as the banner specifies, the college imparts value-based education.

It is a matter of pride that the college has been identified as the “Institution of Excellence” by the National Advisory Committee of Indian Council of Gandhian Studies, New Delhi for the services in the field of women’s education and empowerment.

The Father of our Nation has said, Agriculture is the backbone of our nation. However, it is disheartening to see that agriculture is being denied prominence and fields are being transformed to plots for construction. With a vision to revive the interest of the younger generation in farming, he has started Sethu Bhaskara Agricultural College and Research Foundation at Visalayankottai, Karaikudi Taluk, very close to his native place, Kandramanickam, Sivagangai District

Dr. Sethu Kumanan’s dreams are thus coming true by the Grace of God and the good wishes of countless well-wishers. There are yet many dreams of his to take shape, in the words of Robert Frost.

“And miles to go before I sleep And miles to go before I sleep”.

His service in the field of Education is tremendous. Pudur and Madhanangkuppam have found their place in the Indian map of education on account of Dr.Sethu Kumanan. Here is a great man who strives for women empowerment. Thanks to his noble vision, many girls of the rural area of Madhanangkuppam have become graduates and have been placed well in reputed organizations.

The best feature of his character is his humility. It is this humbleness that makes him all the more a great personality.

A helping hand to the needy “hands that help are better than the lips that pray.

Dr. Sethu Kumanan is a benevolent giver who is ready to help the needy. He has helped so many financially backward students in their education.

Dr. Sethu Kumanan hosted SIXTEEN Mexican Poets in the MEXICAN POETRY CENTER in his college referred to above in which several Indian poets including this blogger were invited. College was the venue of the Meet.

The following Mexican Poets and Indian Poets participated in the Meet. With a well-laid agenda, there was an Exhibition and Presentation-Literature and Poetry, India, Japan and MEXICO.

“TALE IS A TALE and the teller is a teller! Normally it will be a Sunday Story in ENVIUS THOUGHTS but today it is SATURDAY STORY!

Time and tide waits for none it is said; but tide waits for full moon to blossom to show its beauty in depth!”
Time goes on and on, on and on for eternity! Eternity to eternity! It looks February twenty fifth two thousand and fifteen was just yesterday- but it was 1699 days ago! ENVIUS THOUGHTS took birth on that great day with its FIRST POST “MY TRYST WITH LIC” and today on 24th August, it is SEVENTEEN Hundredth post! Post for a TALE- “TALE OF A BLOGGER 34”! (34X50=1700)

One measurement of my viewers is obviously the overall number of views.  I do constantly think of how the Blog can be made more interesting.

I am a little sensitive to the daily number of this Blog’s view and overall as I feel it is the measure of viewers’ estimate of the quality of the Blog.  This is 34th TALE OF THE BLOGGER!

A landmark achievement was crossing the overall views of TWO LAKS on 11th June!  I was indeed thrilled to receive NATIONAL ICON Award from the GLOBAL RECORDS AND RESEARCH FOUNDATION in appreciation of the Blog ENVIUS THOUGHTS for crossing two lac views!

Much water has flown under the Ganges since Tale 33! Naturally; life is a flowing river, glowing light, swirling waves, brewing breeze, running and falling water, tasteful feast, swimming duck, flying bird!

27th July was a day to remember and recollect for all my life! There was a conference of Tamil scholars and poets in the historical SANGEETHA MAHAL a part of Thanjavur palace. Thanjavur alias Tanjore  is my home town for long where I started my professional career as a Mathematics teacher in two schools of great repute and switched over to my Alma mater Life Insurance Corporation of India-premier Public Sector Undertaking where I served for more than four decades and learnt the Art and Science of Life and Living! I presented my paper and a poem in Tamil and I was awarded MOZIKAPPAR  and MA. PO. SI Awards.

Again a wonderful day that will not go out of my mind for years to come is SATUR DAY the Seventeenth August! The  day that I got my FIFTY FIRST AWARD for my to Tamil literature especially the Magnum opus Thirukkural written two thousand years ago by the Saint Poet Chennai born THIRUVALLUVAR.

”குறளரசு விருது” (KURALARASU AWARD) was given to me jointly by உலகத் தமிழாராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம், சென்னை மாநகரத் தமிழ்ச் சங்கம், வி.ஜி.பி. உலகத்தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் in a function held at World Tamil Research Organization, Tharamani, Chennai  Award was handed over by Hon’ble Minister of Tamil Development, Tamilnadu Ma. So much is for this SATURDAY STORY!! We shall meet with a Sunday story tomorrow!!!!!! Till then GOOD BYE!

At Thanjavur Sangeetha Mahal, Palace being honored with MOZIKAAPPAR award

Know not where the society is going and where are we heading to!
Man of seventy six a drunkard died in my neighborhood the other day
Just a little sick not cared for by his wife and sons except father
Was there in the house. They fed him only with three “bottles” each day!!!

Well, time had come for him to take leave of his people and the world
Right- a big shamiana was put up, scores of chairs kept for the visitors.
Two band sets started their jarring trumpeting to the agony of others
Youth dancers started their ugly dances to the tune of band sets!
Giant garlands in dozens from different directions were brought
To the accompaniment of different bandsets and dancers!

One Son was connected with a political party!
SWARGA RADHAM was brought gorgeously decorated-with flowers
Fire Crackers were burst in thousands all the time to the head ache of all
After twelve hours, the body was lifted and taken in
A procession couple of kilometers away-traffic held up!
In all not less than three lakhs of rupees spent-wasted-
An orphanage could have fed the orphan children for months two!
Know not where the society is going and where we are heading to?

Blogger telling his tale 31! U can’t listen ! Only SEE!

Yes, THIRTY TALES are over signifying completion of ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED posts in Envius Thoughts in https://nvsr.wordpress.com in the last 1441 days since February 25th 2015 without break even for a single day which fetched  a place of honor in the Asia Pacific Book of Records which in turn made the World Records University UK to offer me an honorary Ph. D! God Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent has been uniformly kind towards me in this regard.

Today it is TALE 31-on its 1550th post in 1490th day!

Tale 30 was posted on 10th February-1441st day of the Blog when the number of the posts hit 1500!i

I am a little sensitive to the daily number of this Blog’s view and overall as it is the measure of viewers estimate of the quality of the Blog and hence I feel a little apprehensive whether the Blog is losing its sheen.
Let us have a look at the overall views since the last Tale 30 on 10th February 2019.
10/02/2019  1441st day- 1500th post- 1,91,162..
21/02/2019  1452nd day 1511th post- 1,92,000
07/03/2019 1466th day  1525th post – 1,93,000
23/03/2019 1482ndday  1542nd post – 1,94,000
30/03/2019 1489th day  1550th post    1, 94,500.

As per the TALE PRACTICE let me recollect and share with you the happenings during the TALE 30 and TALE 31- that is during the period to 10th February 2019 to 30th March.- though I would have made a reference in short or in detail in the blog.
In repition our colony JEEVAN BIMA NAGAR, Chennai (as the name suggests the mighty organization Life Insurance Corporation of India promoted this policy holders’ housing scheme)– is one of the biggest colonies within a compound wall with 944 flats , sprawling grounds-Kids World, Youth World, Woman’s World,
A Library, a grand Community Hall, green trees here, there everywhere add beauty to the colony.

We celebrated Women’s Day on 16th March in a fitting manner.
Amidst host of great programs such as shopping stalls, fun and frolic, competitions for children and elders skits, dance programs all engaged the residents till 11.30 in the night.

Out of the social media, one great is Face Book. Have both good and bad aspects as one’s experience!

For several years I am on Face Book with a  good following. I consider it most unfortunate that fo0r the past few days, FB rejects  my messages reading as:

“Good morning. Today it is “March 29th SMOKE AND MIRRORS DAY!” in Envius Thoughts in https://nvsr.wordpress.com for your kind read and comment. Thanks.”

Reason adduced:

“Your message couldn’t be sent because it includes content that other people on Facebook have reported as abusive.”

I do not know what exactly the word “ABUSIVE” means, “who are the other people on Facebook reported as ABUSIVF”. My esteemed viewers nearing 2,00,000 from more than 210 countries know my Blog ENVIUS THOUGHTS is purely a LITERARY BLOG running for the 1490 days from February 25th 2015 without a break for even a single day

with 1550 posts as on this date, fetching me a place of honor in the Asia Pacific Book of Records based on which WORLD RECORD UNIVERSITY UK has offered me a honorary Ph.D.! But on the basis of some remarks by some person/s inimical to the Blog,                              fb has blocked my” https://nvsr.wortdpress.com” Let us see what i9s there in store for me in the days to come.

Yet another non Sunday Story – TALE- on 19th WEDNESDAY Story!!!!!!  At times it happens and I have been sufficiently told my well wishers that I can’t afford to be VERY RIGID in certain matters and I have to be a little flexible! OK-hence the TALE OF A BLOGGER as a Non-Sunday Story- a WEDNESDAY STORY! Any how  I am sure my esteemed viewers will be interested about the contents only -no matter when!

As is the practice we shall look into the progress of overall views of Envius Thoughts since the last Tale 25 on 8th July 2018:

In this way number of views is strongly progressing giving a sense of achievement. I take pride and pleasure to communicate the crossing of every 1000 views to all my well wishers through all possible methods- Whatsapp, Facebook two Accounts, Bloggers’ Meet-Up, gmail and so on!

Posting a BLOG every day differently does demand its pound of flesh from the body, mind and intellect! But that PASSION for BLogging overtakes all other factors and with the grace of God and the support of my esteemed viewers and WORDPRESS, I have been carrying on and let us whether it can go on till my…………..!

After the release of tributes to HH Jayendra Saraswathy of Kanchi Kamkoti Peetam ,referred to in the last Tale 26, things are taking shape and are in their places! Once things are in their right places we are safe, peaceful and happy! Whenever they get misplaced, miseries follow!
It is said misery never comes single but in battalions!Of course that is our experience too. All such statements are based on the experience rs! Very rarely we come across the opposite also. Happy happenings come in battalion rarely! Happiness is of course a state of mind but then, reality also counts. In August and September I had several opportunities to participate in the Poets Meets and every one I enjoyed as much as the audience.
I had the joy of  getting honored on 4th August at the hands of UNITED WRITERS  ASSOCIATION OF INDIA, Chennai with UWA ADMIRABLE ACHIEVERS AWARD FOR THE YEAR 2018 from the hands of Tamil Nadu Governor in an impressive function thanks to Chaveliar Dr. K. Thiyagarajan -Secretary General of UWA. Here is a photo with the Shield and Certificate:.

Nellore in Andhra Pradesh is a highly cultured and scholastic city and an organization by name Simhapuri Fine Arts Academy honored  8 great people and they chose to add me to their list of honor and I was honored with  N T R Memorial National Award and here is a photo of the occasion. Since there is going to be a full Sun Day  story on this subject in ENVIUS THOUGHTS, I stop with this on this subject.

There is a literary organization called ILAKKIYA SOLAI here in Chennai who organized a special Tamil Poets Meet in which the following Nine poets their presentations in Tamil about the greatness of the places  from which they hail from:

  1. Coimbatore- Poet Mukil Dhinakaran
  2. Bangaluru – Poet V. Kalyankumar
  3. Arani- Poet Kozhappalur M. Babu.
  4. Panruti- Poet Sundara Palaniappan
  5. Salem- Poet Salem Siththu.
  6. Hosur- Poet Smt. M. Manimegalai.
  7. Sivagangai- Poet C. Balakumar
  8. Tirupur Poet K Velusamy and
  9. Thanjavur Poet N V Subbaraman (self)                            There is a wonderful “11th Guntur International Poetry Festival “for three days 20-22 September and for attending the same I go with S . Nivetha on 19th and return on the morning of 23rd.                               Life is going on smooth and sound for which I immensely thank God – though I of course  not a day passes of  sans a minor physical suffering here and there in the 5’4″ tall human body! Naturally what cannot be cured must be endured and it is rightly said the ” DOCTOR TREATS AND GOD CURES” but in HIS own wisdom God does not cure and Doctor continues to treat!!!!!!!!!                                                             Thanks my dear esteemed viewers , this Tale ends here and we shall meet tomorrow.  I may come and I may go, but my Blog must go without break and hence I have planned to schedule the posts till 23rd here and now and hence I appear to be busy! Till tomorrow may GOD be with you!

“Time flies over us, but leaves its shadow behind. …
It’s pretty scary to know how quickly time flies. …
It’s crazy how fast time flies and how things progress. …
Time flies really quickly. …
Time flies. …
Time flies never to be recalled. …
Time flies like an arrow – but fruit flies like a banana. …
Time flies so quick.”

Yes, my esteemed viewers, this exactly is my experience on the “flying time” and a few of the quotes on the subject!

This much is this weeks Sunday Story. We shall meet tomorrow. Till then GOODBYE-GOD BE WITH YOU!–

Envius Thoughts crosses 1 60 000 views.

I am  glad to share with  you all that Envius Thoughts has crossed overall view score of 1 60 000 with 241st view at 23.50 hours yesterday-saturday 28th July  in its 1300 th post on 1247th day thanks to your encouragement and support . Kindly continue. Thanks

Today it is 1149th day of ENVIUS THOUGHTS and 1200th post necessitating the TALE OF A BLOGGER in tune with the tradition of the Blog!
This tale 24 is again for the second time unique (is it peculiar!?!?!?)- as it is a SATURDAY STORY and not a SUNDAY STORY as usually the TALES come only on SUNDAYS in the last three years. Blog has entered into the FOURTH year and I wish this is not a forerunner for the things to come! Yet these two TALES appear on Saturdays!!!
Normally the Blogger makes it a point to give a longer story instead of a twelve line poem on Sundays when the viewers will be more at leisure and can comfortably read a longer write. This week it has so happened that 1200th post also falls on a Saturday as the 1150th did and could not be negotiated and hence this TALE 24 comes as a SATURDAY STORY and the Sunday Story will appear on 22nd April on the chosen subject!
It is extremely gratifying that with the grace of the Almighty GODDESS OF LEARNING SARASWATHY, WORD PRESS and my esteemed viewers the Blog has travelled to its 1200th post happily and uninterruptedly since its launch on 25th February 2015.
As is the practice we shall look into the progress of overall views of Envius Thoughts since the last Tale 23 on 3rd March 2018:
09/03/2018 1106th day- 1156th post- 1,35,000
16/03/2018 1113th day 1163rd post- 1,36,000
21/03/2018 1119th day 1169th post – 1,37,000
27/03/2018 1124th day 1175th post- 1,38,000
01/04/2018 1129th day 1180th post 1,39,000
08/04/2018 1136th day 1187th post 1,40,000
20/04/2018 1149th day 1200th post 1,41,

In this way number of views is strongly progressing giving a sense of achievement. I take pride and pleasure to communicate the crossing of every 1000 views to all my well wishers through all possible manner- WhatsApp, Facebook two Accounts, Bloggers’ Meet-Up, gmail and so on!
I am often reminded of a quote that I read about 57 years ago,, while I was a student of Alagappa College, Karaikudi: “Art and Literature of the highest order cannot flourish in a world that is increasingly becoming mechanical and the society a rocket”! Yes in these fast food days where and how does one find time for literary activities!
Yet there are several groups devoted to foster literature of different genres. Envius Thoughts has already carried Sunday Stories on CHENNAI POETS CIRCLE, VIJAYAWADA poets group and so on. There is a nice group= of course a little sophisticated and dwell in the higher ranges of POETRY World-the group known s INDIA POETRY CIRCLE from Chennai. They innovate activities among the members and go ahead in great way.”CONFLUENCE “ in one such activity a nice anthology! In writing poem one poet will contribute one line each! First line from the first poet, 2nd from the next, 3rd from the third and so on!
They meet every month and present their poems and discussions ensue! A great experience indeed!
The IPC has members from different parts of our Motherland -East and West, North and South!
One of the members is a retired Professor of English from Kerala who became a little close to me and our esteemed viewers will find her thoughts on Envius Thoughts as Sunday Story tomorrow! Tale of the Blogger has yielded place to a new Poet in the blog! I am sure the story will be enjoyable!

During the Tale period, a new anthology was brought out with the name and title “METVERSE MUSE GOLDEN JUBILEE ISSUE” from Vishakapatnam beautifully and scholarly edited by a veteran Poet and Editor DR. H. TULSI a detailed review of this work was published in this Blog on 18th March. (can be viewed from the archives of March 2018).
Opportunities are provided by the Lord almighty in any form and in many forms!
One such came to me a couple of days back. A poem was written by an young girl suffering from terminal cancer nd the hospital authorities from abroad have sent it all over the globe and I have sent the same to about 300 friends of mine-poet and non poet friends by mail. I reproduce the same with a request “LET US HELP”.
Slow Dance
This is a poem written by a teenager with cancer.
She wants to see how many
people get her poem.

It is quite a poem, please pass it on.
This poem was written by a terminally ill young girl in a
New York Hospital.
It was sent by a medical doctor Make sure to read what is in the closing statement AFTER THE POEM.

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly’s erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down.
Don’t dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won’t last.

Do you run through each day on the fly?
When you ask, “How are you?”
Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done, do you lie in your bed,
with the next hundred chores running through your head?

You’d better slow down
Don’t dance so fast.
Time is short
The music won’t last.

Ever told your child,
We’ll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,’Hi’

You’d better slow down.
Don’t dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won’t last..

When you run so fast to get somewhere,
You miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift….
Thrown away.

Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

Dear All:
PLEASE pass this mail on to everyone you know –
even to those you don’t know!
It is the request of a special girl, who will soon leave this world
due to cancer.

This young girl has 6 months left to live, and as her dying wish, she wanted to send a letter telling everyone to
live their life to the fullest, since she never will.
She’ll never make it to prom, graduate from high school,
or get married and have a family of her own.

By you sending this to as many people as possible, you can give her and her family a
little hope, because with every name
that this is sent to, the American Cancer Society will donate 3 cents per name
to her treatment and recovery
plan. One guy sent this to 500 people! So I know that we can at least send it to 5 or 6.

It’s not even your money, just your time! Pls read n forward … !!

My esteemed viewers are the first to be shared with of the news of your favorite  Blog ENVIUS THOUGHTS is getting into the ASIA PACIFIC RECORD BOOK- promotion from national level -INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS!-

So we end this TALE 24- a Saturday Story with a resolve “LET US HELP”. Thanks . Tomorrow a regular SUNDAY STORY THOUGHTS on THOUGHTS will greet you early in the morning!.
