GLOBAL WIND DAY 15th June

Greatest manifestation of nature the great wind
But for which people in the globe cannot sure find
Their life and living smooth and healthy, with joy and peace
Let us thank the Almighty for blessing us to live in ease.

Global Wind Day is today fifteenth of June each year
A day for discovering wind, its power enormous
Ways to find out how to reshape the world’s energy system
The day to decarbonise our economies with wisdom!

Wind power and its energy exhaustive when hydel
Energy evades us, nuclear energy has its
Limitations, solar energy unpredictable
On this day let us think and help in improving wind energy!

MOVING CLOUDS

Image result for Images of moving clouds

Moving clouds move on like a ship in the water
It is a beautiful sight to watch in the Blue sky
Bundles of black and white carrying rains for us
God’s great creation is of course wonderful thus.

Great Poet carried his message through the clouds
‘Megha sandesha’ of Kalidasa in Sanskrit a great epic.
Clouds indeed provide inspiration to the poets
One of the wonders of Nature’s bounty to us!

Sorrows and sufferings are never static sure
They move away like the bundle of clouds quite pure
Rain bearing clouds bring rains and cheer to all in the world
Clouds of miseries move away and bring us peace and joy.

MY HAIKU POEMS ON TREES, FORESTS AND JUNGLES.

Forest Landscape Scenic Jungle Fog Mist Tree

1 Crime to fell a tree
Global warming a warning
Save and make it free!

2 Tree the home of birds
God given green shelters safe
The unkind have swords!

3 Forest our great wealth
Man’s duty to protect nice
He has greed and strength!

4 Source of rain- forests
Ever to be protected
Lo! Man stands farthest!

5 Jungle- animals’
Happy home with all freedom
Man simply annuls!

6 All parts of a tree
Are of great value to al
Man simply fells free!

7 Forest fetches rain
For the whole earth to prosper
Unkind man brings pain!

8 Tree, forest, jungle
Man’s precious allies sure
But he keeps single!

9 Green forest quite cool
Men and animals enjoy
In His hands a tool!

10 Aroma pleasant
Around the eucalyptus
God’s pleasant present!

WORLD OCEAN DAY is today! (8/6)

“Healthy oceans, healthy planet”theme of the year sixteen

Three fourths of the earth has water all around-keep its sheen

In tact as our duty bounden on this day holy sure

On this great  WORLD OCEAN DAY for our survival quite pure!

Great creation of the Almighty for the use of all

None to have the hegemony over the God’s gift tall

Yet all have duty to protect the protector-ocean

Giver of health and wealth to all on earth with great passion!

Sagar -the sea- is deemed as God in India by all

Offering prayer on the days holy taking bath

Not a dumping yard for garbage and carcass remember

Greatest gift of God -as  an act of divine surrender!

Where is rain if oceans are not well protected by all

Where is food for human and animal beings sans sea

Where is transportation of men and goods sans sea route

All the reasons why on this day to resolve to protect sure!

MAN IN HIS GREED AND NEEDS

Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed.

Sweet melodious song of the bird
Behind the grills I sat and heard
That little beautiful bird perching
On the branch of neem tree singing
Its lovely song of harmony and peace
Heralding the dawn of new age with ease!

Voice of the crow, bark of the dog
Scent of flowers, chillness of fog
Breeze from the sea, charm of the hill
Rise and fall of the surging waves!
Grace of God and gift of nature
Man to save and secure future!

Alas! man in his greed and needs
Takes to his cruel acts and deeds!
Oh! God grant good sense to the world
To live clean and save people bold!

May 20 – World Meteorology Day!

God created the earth for the people to live in peace

Nature to help the living beings enjoy with some ease

People committing sins against nature to pay for it

Floods and famines, cyclones and typhoons nature’s reply-fit!

Man has the ability to find when and where and how

Predicts right-many times going awry and has to bow

Beseeching the God that is nature to love and be kind

In HIS compassion we are spared and Nature does not mind!

Meteorologists have methods of metrology

To measure and tell what happens and when the skies open

To warn the people to be prepared for the best and worst

We look to the God and weather man to know the best!
