My God! Thy creation is the religions and world
Thee has blessed me as a Hindu in this sacred land
The land of great tolerance and compassion for all
That sure makes my India that is Bharat stand tall!
Let me follow what my scriptures taught me all along
“Ekam Sath”- “Vipraha bahudha vadhanthi”
Truth is One; Learned call it by names many for long
“Sarva dharma sama bhava”- treat all faiths equal!
“Vasu dhaiva kutumbakam”- the world is a home
People all over the world are my kith and kin- Ohm!
Godly light from sacred Mecca-
Heavenly light from holy Bethlehem
Divine light from hallowed Himalayas
All flash through my mind’s layers!
Allah, Christ and Maheshwara
Bless me fine to reach my goal
Goal when reached redeems the soul
Through love and piety, peace and poise
Universal brotherhood all to rejoice!
