God created the world in all its beauty and splendor
Hundreds of countries and billions of people -wonder.
India was and is great since time immemorial
Ups and downs were and are but maintains days sacred floral!

Neighbors part and parcel of United India-great
Times and days were there, as brothers and sisters a fine treat
Lo!The leaders there were seeking partition for their own
On Independence from the foreign yoke-and seeds were sown!

Neighbors thought that it was for their good and prosperity
Right or wrong, not to comment today-Bangladesh was born.
A group of military officials disgruntled
Assassinated Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his close family!

Fateful day was August fifteenth nineteen seventy five
National mourning day observed on every fifteenth
August paying homage and fondly remembering their
Sacrifice for the nation’s peace and cause to prevail there!
